Firefox isn't starting maximized anymore?

Okay... I don't know why but all my firefox bookmarks and profiles are gone, but my extentions and themes are still there. That part is weird, but I don't really care about that. What I do care about is that now when firefox starts it's not maximized anymore. It starts windowed that only takes up half the screen, so I have to hit the maximize button every time now. It's annoying as hell is what it is. It's also like this when it opens up a new window. How do I fix this? I tried right clicking the icon and changing the properties to open up maximized but it doesn't, plus I open it w/ my keyboard buttons.

right click icon/shortcut of firefox, then go to properties, then it'll say in the middle - run: minimized, maximized, normal window.

maximized is the one you want.

edit: whoops didnt read your post... hmm, maybe backup your profile, completely remove firefox and then reinstall?
