Firefox is pissing me off...

I like how more than half the time I right-click a bookmark to quick open in new tab, the "open" options are grayed out on the first attempt.

I used to be pretty big into FF, but a lot of stuff doesn't work or doesn't work well. I find myself using IE more and more.

Yeah firefox is turning into failfox rather quickly. I wish they'd make noscript for opera 🙁

Everytime a script is executed in Opera, there is a notification asking whether you want scripts on that page to be executed or not.

Oh and...

I went back to FF because of the problem with Chrome and laptop touchpads. I use the scroll pad a lot, and although it may be a small problem it was enough to stop me from using it. Well that and the lack of adblock.

It seems like I'm always in the group w/ broken software, but not this time. FF 3 works very well for me. flashblock, noscript, etc...

Weird I have never had a problem with ff3 and prefer it to IE7 and Opera 9.5(haven't tried IE8 much, downloaded it, installed it wasn't impressed, uninstalled all in less than 30min).

eh. I love 3 for the fact that it's got MUCH better memory utilization. F2 is a memory hog.

I've had zero problems with firefox 3. Any problems I get are just from troubles with Adblock Plus and certain websites, or NoScript. But in general, F3 with ABP and NoScript is a freaking dream.
That, and I continue using Prism for a few web-apps (for instance, GMail gets the standalone treatment for me with Gmail Redesigned (love Stylish), and I use Google Calendar too). Have an awesome browsing experience on my end. 🙂

Thanks for the heads-up on Gmail Redesigned; that's pretty sweet.

The flash issue is resolved by re-installing Flash Player. I tried IE 8.0. Also uninstalled it - horrible I thought.

Chrome was a no go due to the scroll thing.

Opera is just boring to me. I like FF.

Never had a major issue with FF3. I just gotta make sure to restart it every once in awhile, leaving it open for weeks doesn't work out so well 😛

I use the extension "Search With" and then removed the feature you're talking about with menu editor. This way I can choose from a whole set of searches (google, wiki, imdb, TPB, etc.) from the context menu.

What really pisses me off about Firefox is that Flash is F-ING BROKEN!!!!

Weird that's what pisses me off about chrome. Firefox mysteriously likes to forget I am logged in to various things so I am stuck with chrome though.

I hate the fact that Chrome randomly freezes out of nowhere, just locks up, jesus its anoying.

Firefox crashes on me a lot. I never had this problem with IE7. It just seems to randomly crash when I click things. it happens a lot with Hulu. at least it has the thing that will save your sessions.

Works awesome for me but then I'm using Linux.

The funny thing is, I have far more problems with Firefox at home on Linux than I do at work on Windows.

Firefox sometimes for me disconnects my cable internet. And yes it is Firefox doing it.

Anyone care to explain that one ?
