i just started geting this today, when i try to go somewhere sometimes i get a alert error saying such and such page can not load, but if i hit the reload button then it works,it will do this to pages ive aready been to as well, such as going back to my default homepage, which is google.

i have 0.9.2 which i just installed today, was using 0.8 and geting this same error,i ran spybot and adaware and a antivirus plus i use spywareblaster,i have all the current windows updates,i reset my cable modem as well, internet explorer doesn't seem to do this.

When you update from 0.8 and earlier to 0.9.x, you needed to manually go and delete some profile folders (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Phoenix for 0.8 and earlier) because the new version uses C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox. I suggest uninstalling Firefox 0.9.2, deleting both of the above profile folders if they still exist, and then re-installing. You may even want to install 0.8 and then immediately uninstall it to clear out the registry entires that were left.

[Note that the Application Data folder is hidden, so you may need to enable Show hidden files and folders.)

I've been using Firefox as my default browser for 3-4 months. While I never had that problem, I had enough random problems to convince me that Firefox isn't quite ready for prime time. I uninstalled it yesterday, and I'm going to wait for v1.0 to come out and try it again. I really like the browser, and hopefully they'll get the bugs out.

Are you keeping, cache, cookies, etc cleaned? I had a few page loading problems that I attributed to that. I also found that rebooting periodically seemed to keep it running smooth.

Firefox doesnt crash as much anymore (especially when several *.pdf tabs are open).
And it also comes with a free pop-up blocker.
