all of the "smaller" windows that pop up for stuff like New Topics and PM's are too small by default. i don't think i changed a setting, but i can't seem to find anything to change the default. anyone know wtf is going on?

Yeah, I've noticed Mozilla does this too sometimes. I haven't really found a way to fix it, but I haven't really looked all that hard.

Thats a wierd problem. Try asking on the firefox support forum.

well, for future reference, i updated my FF from 1.0.7 to 1.5.0.1 and that fixed it 😛
