While I don't have really fast internet, I do get semi-ok speeds (3m), Chrome + adblock was unusable for sites like anandtech. I would come here, go to click User CP, and BAM, a mis click because the page hadn't completely loaded, I had to wait every time for the page to completely load before going to the next link. Extremely annoying.
 
I will put up with ads and an occasional laggy ad server because I appreciate my FREE internet. And I'll subsidize all you ad-blocking cheaters as well. You're welcome, btw.
