Firefox bookmark sorting?

So I'm trying FF again after about a year with Chrome. Annoyance #1: is there no extension or anything to automatically sort bookmarks?? The only thing I am finding by googling is Sort Places but the developer has pulled it.

wow, that sucks. look like i will have to make sure i keep my backup of my extensions then

You can use this to force the app to be compatible. .. I do this with Google Toolbar which is also said to not work with later versions of Firefox ... Now all the features may not work (I have not tried each and every one of them) but the ones I do use, do work.
