For some reason, Firefox is noticeably slower than IE, like it takes twice the time to load some non-cached things. Also, pics.bbzzdd.com willnot even be found by Firefox. Whats happening?

I just switched to Firefox and I'm loving it. Pages load tons faster than IE.

I agree with BZeto. I just installed Firefox yesterday and I've found it to be much faster than IE 6.

One of the issues I have is I can't copy images off a web page w/o saving them. In IE, I could just right click and copy the image to the clipboard...is there a way to do that in Firefox?

Not yet. IIRC, there's a bug for adding that to mozilla.

how is this possibly not a built-in feature. that's like needing an extension to get a "back" button.

Because it's Firefox 0.9. It's not even 1.0.

well, I like Firefox much more than IE, but it loads slower. I guess I can get over it, though.

yes it loads slower because it is not 'part' of the OS like IE. However with a good defragged sys (PerfectDisk HD defragger etc.) under XP NTFS, prefetching and everything the loading times are almost the same here as when i start IE.

firefox loads about half of pages faster (and other half a touch slower) than IE for me, no biggy though.

Only annoyance with firefox is it has this habit of emptying cache apparently for no reason - I think it dumps the cache at the slightest sign of a crash or issue - and the real PITA: sometimes it just loses cookies, typically for sites I've not been to in a while so often enough I've forgotten the username or email I've used for it, never mind the bloody password.

I can copy images to clipboard in firefox .9 no problem. Just right click and select Copy Image. Maybe it is the theme I am using?
