i was reading some of the P&N threads, and the links in them are just filled with pop-ups. son of a n00b, shut the fvck up and stick to being a good n00b ok?

more and more as in a single pop up from maybe two different sites then I guess you could say that

nothing to whine about

I think it's through use of tiny Flash applets that have the ability to circumvent the typical DHTML/Javascript popup blocks. Firefox users can use FlashBlock to bring this to a crashing halt:

FlashBlock stops the Drudge popup ads nicely - if you install the plugin, take a look at Drudge's front page. At the top of the page, right under the flash banner ad is a tiny centred Flash applet. Gee, wonder what that's for? ;)

lol i am just playing around...actually i realized the same also...they actually get "blocked" becuase the status bar shows up, but then they actually pop up with a blank screen...
