Firefox and Firbird freeze after I hit "Reply"

After I type up a reply and hit "Reply" or "Post Message" (using quick reply or full reply), the window freezes. If I refresh the window, my message has posted, but I have to hit the Back button and then Refresh for it to appear.

For some reason, it is not forwarding all the way through to the refreshed current thread.

I have only noticed this for the last few days, using Firefox .8, .91 and 1.0PR.

It works fine in IE.

I have deleted my profiles from the Application Data folder under my Win profile. I have un-installed them all and re-installed them all separately at different times to try to troubleshoot.

Anyone else having the problem or had it in the past?

The windows containing the Vote buttons and Rate buttons (in people's profiles), freeze up after you hit them as well.

I totally formatted and re-installed and it is still happening with Firefox 1.0pr. WTF! I have no other ideas. I am not using any extensions or anything weird.

Anyone else have this problem?

(I didnt re-install XP JUST becuase of that)

Those are normal, FuseTalk produces broken JavaScript. Try asking in the Mozillazine forums.

YES! I just re-installed Java from their website.

That was too easy. I already did that before I posted this thread.

Oh well... if anyone else encounters this, they will know to just re-install Java again.

Well, I restarted, and now it is doing it again!

FIXED AGAIN!

This time I re-installed Java 1.5.0 instead of 1.4.2.

Sorry about the excessive bumping.

AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, now it's not working again... with 1.5.0. WTF is going on?!?!?!

Uninstalled both 1.4.2 and 1.5.0. Restarted. Re-installed 1.5.0... testing now.
