Thanks for the heads up Chiefcrowe.

Does anyone remember the link or add-on that checks for add-on compatibility with these newer versions of Firefox?

Thanks Chiefcrowe. That was the add-on I was looking for to make sure multi-process works :).

I am experiencing freezes with this version. I can open a website in a new tab, and it'll freeze for like 10 seconds. Doesn 't matter the site. Even has happened with Anandtech and Reuters.

When I read that I tried loading Reuters which works fine for me. Have you tried clearing the cache or even the cookies from the previous install?

I've been using Waterfox 54 and found the same issue. Went back to 53.0.3 and the issue is gone. It's just an occasional issue but it's annoying.

I don't think I have seen that yet but will need to spend more time with it to know for sure.

Is it still using that abysmal Australis theme?

Nope, new theme of course:

Been having issues since v53. Lots of stutters when typing on some sites, lots of hangs on some sites, some out-right lockups. Running two addons which I've been running since FF supported addons which are noscript and adblock plus. And for god sake how have they still not fixed the random crash when browsing for a file to attach in website or upload to a site. That's been around for years.

Been using Waterfox, before that Firefox, and before that Netscape. Can't say I've ever had that bug.

Overclocked? RAM and/or Disk test?

No overclock, unlikely RAM or HD issue as I've seen it on multiple systems and I have no other issues with any other software. Seems to be a known/common issue at least the times that I Google'd it I found plenty of posts about it.
