Oh come on they have plugin handler running in a separate process :D

On a serious note, they use threads, albeit not optimally, because I never can see Firefox use more than one CPU effectively, not even when multiple tabs are loading.

Yeah, "primitive" isn't really fair. I just want to troll them into updating their browser because google doesn't care about making a decent UI WRT tabs and won't let users mod it.

https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=188

"Let's make the tabs get smaller and smaller as you open them. What, the users want a scrolling tab bar or multiple rows?!?! F THE USERS"

Whoever is in charge of UI development at google needs to be canned.

I'd like to switch to chrome but can't find an addon that will restore favicons instantly without having to visit each bookmark.. until someone releases one I'm not using it as Chrome is bad with favicons. Can't believe firefox is down to 20% usage now... probably lots of people use Chrome on android, but I use naked browser.

Chrome is spyware. It's been removed from my Android. Mozilla has made numerous questionable decisions, but they still make the most free powerful browser around. I use it, or its forks on every machine.
