Firefox 38 & Sandboxie do not save my bookmarks

windows 8.1

never had this problem before.

when firefox 38 is inside sandboxie (free version), bookmarks don't get saved.

i've uninstalled, reinstalled, etc, firefox.

i've checked & double-checked the default sandbox's settings.

i've also installed the current beta of free sandboxie. no improvement.

Just tested with current release of FF and current release of Sandboxie, works as expected.

os hasn't changed

sandboxie settings have not changed

ie and chrome keep on working fine

firefox is the only thing that changed, 38.0.1 to 38.0.5

i’ll keep on using ie and chrome

In Sandboxie's setting are you allowing direct access to Firefox's bookmarks and history database?

Go to Settings - Applications - Web Browsers - Firefox and tick the "Allow direct access to Firefox bookmarks and History database" box by highlighting it and click Add then be sure to click apply and then ok.

one of the the first things i checked.

whatever i do with bookmarks in firefox+sandboxie, disappears.

even when it doesn’t disappear from firefox+sandboxie, it doesn’t show in firefox without sandboxie.

sometime, bookmarks done with firefox without sandboxie don’t show up in firefox+sandboxie.

i’ll keep on using ie and google.

I wonder if it is a Firefox issue then? For some reason I think I've been experiencing bookmarks not working well in Palemoon if they go to "Unsorted bookmarks" instead of one of my folders. I could be wrong though.

Also, Sandboxie released a new beta today. I don't see anything about FF in the notes. http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=21235
