Can't wait for the final. I've read the JS engine is supposed to be much faster (on par with Chrome's). Anybody using the beta, can you notice a difference just during normal browsing?

The speed increase is nice. I can feel the difference from 3.04, and it's as fast if not faster than Chrome, Opera or IE7Pro. Some add-ons don't work on it, so most will probably want to wait for the final release.

The address plainly states it's a nightly build. There's even a second build released just today

Yeah. those are B2 candidates, not the official B2.

When this url goes live, then you have your official B2; ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/3.1b2/
