Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 released

I have been using it about 2 days now and find it much faster than the 3.0X builds.
If you want to try it, it is here:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Remember is it still a beta so if it has problems with something be sure to let them know.
I haven't encountered any problems myself.
Private Browsing is working well.

Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 is based on the Gecko 1.9.1 rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 9 months. Firefox 3.1 is an incremental release on the previous version with significant changes to improve web compatibility, performance, and ease of use:

* This beta is now available in 64 languages - get your local version.
* Improved the new Private Browsing Mode.
* Improvements to web worker thread support.
* Improved performance and stability with the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine.
* New native JSON support.
* Improvements to the Gecko layout engine, including speculative parsing for faster content rendering.
* Support for new web technologies such as the <video> and <audio> elements, the W3C Geolocation API, JavaScript query selectors, CSS 2.1 and 3 properties, SVG transforms and offline applications.

I think for that I will wait for it to go final. It will be nice for Firefox to launch quickly. Right now V3.0.9 takes about 15 seconds or so to open intitially. Since you installed V3.1 beta, did it accept all the old V3.0 style bookmarks ? ? What about add ons ? ? Did most of them work ? ? ?

It uses your existing bookmarks and addons and if you uninstall and reinstall a firefox 3.09 all the stuff is just like you left it.
Addons like adblock seem to be working fine.
It starts with addons disabled so you have to go in and enable the ones you want to use.

Beta 3 was released a while ago. IIRC, beta 4 is supposed to be released very soon..... like within a week or two

Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 is now out (use OP's link).
