Firefox 2 & Incomplete Downloading

My FF2 sometimes ends a download before its finished, but acts like it really did finish, reporting nothing in the download manager. Is it just me or has it happened to anyone else.

I haven't had the fortune to see it happen with FF2 [yet], but in previous versions it'd behave that way if the download was interrupted (for example, if my wireless connection dropped). There are extensions to support dedicated download managers which offers better functionality.

Same happens for me. For most downloads I just use DownThemAll, but that doesn't work if you're DLing from a mirror. If I just let it sit and don't touch the download dialog box (as in minimize, surf the web, etc), it works. But that's kind of annoying to wait. :s
