Firefox 2.0 Problem

So, why is it that in Firefox 2.0 I can no longer click certain links that I used to be able to click? For example, if you go to espn.com you will see a menu list going horizontally across the screen. When I hover over this it does not produce the drop down menu nor will it allow me to actually click the word. All I can do is highlight the text, 'College', for example.

I was having the same problem with the 'New Topic'/'My Forums' buttons here until I allowed scripts so I allowed go.com scripts on espn.com and still have no luck.

Does anyone have any idea? This is annoying as hell and I don't understand what could have changed between 1.5 and 2.0 to cause this problem.
