We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.
In a move that will satisfy users with a preference for a minimalist aesthetic, Firefox developers have added a new feature to remove some of the clutter from the UI.
This old fart doesn't get this feature. Why would anyone pin an extension if they didn't use it all the time? Also, why is a puzzle icon used for extensions? Can mozilla please hire someone with common sense. This feature feels like it's targeted towards power users (which they have ignored for years) or people who value form over function.
I customize firefox minimalistly but functional without their silly ideas.
That's not for power users. Power users already knew they could customize the toolbar and either pin addons, or put them into an overflow dropdown. Looks like the only difference is they go to the dropdown by default, and the icon changed. I'm on ESR, it'll be awhile before I see for myself.
