Can't install extensions. "software installation is currently disabled" and can't see any options allow it (I disabled it in ff1.07 previously). Any suggestions

I just came here to post that. Same exact file size and all the version info is exactly the same. I uninstalled 1.5 RC3 for nothing. 😉

FWIW, I like 1.5 better than 1.0x. The 1.5 version has html support in Yahoo mail and 1.0x didn't.

I upgraded to 1.5 on my linux box. So far so good, it feels faster, not taking up as much ram. Aside from that I don't really notice much else yet

Made a copy of my 1.0.x profile and ran 1.5 on it so now I've got both going in parallel.

Three extensions were 'incompatible' and it automatically updated 2 of them. The third, LiveHTTPHeaders, doesn't seem to be ready for 1.5 yet as I uninstalled and grabbed the latest manually and it still doesn't work (the extensions manager doesn't even seem to want to let me uninstall it 😕 ). Other than that, everything's been smooth as can be.

what happened to my "forward/back" buttons on my logitech mouse? do i have to reinstall the drivers or something for FF or is it an add on?

please help a FF noob out, trying once again to like this browser 😛

installed 1.5 and everything went smoothly. it updated my extentions for me. there were only a few i had to update manually. everything works great so far.

I'm not sure why, but 1.5 is taking 200mb of memory on my machine. This never happened on the previous version. Anyone else have this problem?

i didn't notice the memory usage but the problem with my logitech mouse thumb buttons not working is frustrating enough. i must be missing something as my side to side scroll on the mouse wheel works. i don't get it.

must say, everything i need seems to work, i'm happy. use fasterfox/session saver .02d/downthemall/adblock+filterset g
thats all i need🙂
