Plugins, like flash and java, are *completely* different from extensions, like adblock and gmail notifier. If you ask for support and use the wrong word, you'll probably confuse whoever is trying to help you.

I used to have the "linkifier" thing (not sure of the real name) but it took too long to run on large pages so I got rid of it. It was a great idea though.

I'm looking for one I had in a previous version of firefox. I don't know what it's called but it put an icon next to any link that opened in a new window or was a PDF.

Dictionary Search
All-In-One Gestures

As someone above pointed out, these are extentions not plugins, but I think this is what you meant.

The Dictionary Search is particularly useful -- you can program it to look up words on other databases, not just the dictionary. For example, you can create a context menu item for "Search IMDB" or "Search Encarta" ... whatever you want. It's just a matter of figuring out the syntax of the particular site. You can have up to 4 context menu lookup items at a time.
