It killed my middle click. Anyone know how to get it working in this version.

That's what I suggest as well.
None of mine needed updating and my middle click still works perfectly.

yeah there's something wrong when trying to open new tabs (links) with the middle button - Firefox build 1.05

im currently using Deer Park Alpha 2 build :D.

This seems like a pretty minor update and I don't see those fixes as very critical, so I'll probably wait for 1.0.6 to go through the trouble of the update.

But I applaud their efforts to stay on top of things. I love Firefox.

I installed Firefox on a friend's laptop and now his scroll wheel doesn't work. It works fine in IE but in Firefox the 'arrow box' (up/down arrows) pops up but the screen never scrolls. Any ideas?

Why bother waiting? Seems kinda silly.

Have him disable all of his extensions and see if it works then. If it does, enable them one by one to figure out which one isn't working for 1.0.5.

Because I don't want to go through the trouble of extension/theme incompatibilities for what seems to be relatively minor fixes.

I completely uninstalled 1.0.4 through add/remove programs (didn't manually delete files/folders), then immediately installed 1.0.5. No problems with having to re-install extensions or re-set settings. Scroll wheel works fine too. No problems to report. Upgrade took 2 minutes, if that.

For those who are wondering, if you don't uninstall first, every incremental entry will stay in add/remove... and that just sucks.

hmm, i've had that multiple-entry problem since 0.9.3 on my other machine...

Mine *all* work with no updates needed for my extensions. Why not just install it? It's not like you can't just install 1.0.4 over it if by chance something doesn't work.

I hope this fixes the noscript crashes. It seemed to work well for a while...

i can't download files using the 64-bit version of that
