Firefox 1.0.4 slowwwww

i just upgraded to 1.0.4 and it is slow as pig compared to 1.0.3, any ideas?

it worked fine in 1.0.3, i highly doubt i need more computer (2.8@3.15P4c/1GBRam/10krpm scsi hdd, etc) to run a frickin' webbrowser and i get 4Mb/s down and 512Kb/s up from my isp...

You tried doing a fresh install? FWIW I did an upgrade and its fine....

Edit: Also try clearing your cache.

Backup your bookmarks and delete your profile. Create a new profile and try again.

Whenever you have any problems with Firefox, try a fresh profile, usually does the trick...
