Does anyone else find 0.9.1 to be much slower than 0.8? I was used to 0.8 being slower than IE, but on my older system with 0.9.1 if I click a link or open link in new tab it hangs for a tangibly long number of seconds and I can't scroll the current page. On 0.8 it was much faster and I could open 3 or 4 link in new tabs and scroll down the current page while they loaded without any hangs. As it is now, 0.9.1 is almost too slow to use.

Doesn't work the same... used to just download to your default download directory without popping up a dialog box.

Doesn't do that anymore.

I went from 0.9.0 to 0.9.1 and it is still saying I need to update, it keeps popping up and there is an icon on the status bar to the lower right that says I need to when I click on it. Anyone else have this problem?

Same here.

Update:

Its still saying it on my machine where I upgraded from 0.9.0 to 0.9.1.

I just did a reinstall of Windows on my parents machine tonight and installed 0.9.1 for them and it doesn't do this.

Maybe its something to do with upgrading Firefox, not sure.

Can't you just turn it off in the options? I know mine can...

I'll have to check on that...

EDIT: Found the option in whatever old version I'm running. I guess I turned it off or it is off by default. :D

A links shortcut bar?
FF has one by default... If you can't see it, click View > Toolbars > Bookmarks bar.

You can also set your homepage to open multiple tabs by default. Open all the tabs you need, go to home page option, click "use current pages."
Now those tabs will open each time you open FF.

Try and get IE to do that! hehe :D
