Sure wish another network would of picked this up 🙁 Double dipping just for the "Our Mrs. Reynolds" commentary that wasn't on the dvd set. Great series for those of us that "Got it!"
 
Hmm, thinking if I should bite considering I don't have a BD player yet. Love the show though and just watched it all over again last week on DVD. And yea, I wish someone would pick this show up again.
 
Count me as a fan too. I have it on DVD, not sure if I can cough up the $'s to buy it again. It's an awesome deal to be sure, it's just that I already have it. Decisions, decisions.

For anyone on the fence though, it's an awesome show.

I don't have a bluray player, nor do I have an HDTV yet..but I'm tempted anyway!
 
Truely disappointing they didn't continue this series or at least give it an ending. Great show. That being said this needs to be about half its current price for me bite.
 
What the BD edition adds that the DVDs don't include is a commentary for episodes 6: "Our Mrs. Reynolds" and 9: "Ariel."
Episodes 3,5,7,11,13 do not have commentary on either set.
Also added is "Firely Reunion - Lunch" and 5.1 DTS Master Audio. The DVD set only has Dolby Digital, so it appears the audio was remastered in a higher quality for the BD release.
 
I'd bite, but am trying to avoid spending extra money since I think I will be buying a receiver this week and I have this on DVD already.

Great series though. 🙂
 
I loved this show!! Such a shame it really is that the show got cut off short 🙁

I hate Joss, you know all through the show that Mal and Inara just HAVE to get together and Joss just teases you and draws it out FOREVER like in the episode "Heart of Gold", just teases you with it, over and over, and then NEVER GETS AROUND TO MAKING THEM GET TOGETHER. YOU SUCK JOSS.

And the show gets up and canceled, re-watching them all knowing they'll never get together because THE SHOW IS OVER just kills me.

Any TV show that can make you this angry has got to be a good one. It just makes me love it all the more. I don't know if I've watched anything as heart wrenching as this show.

I'm gonna say it....its better than most Star Trek episodes. There. I didn't see it until 3 years after it was cancelled. I felt guilty for a year. It is that good.

In other news Dollhouse premiering February 13th. Never watched Buffy or Angel.

But for all of us who loved Firefly we should be appreciative that we at least got Serenity.

So to enjoy Firefly, watch all episodes back to back and then watch Serenity and you will have a complete mini series 😉
