Firefly Complete Box set with Serenity the movie for 34.98 FreeShipping @ Amazon

The list price on the Firefly tv series has dropped to about $30, so $20 is a good but not great price. The list price on Serenity has also dropped, but I can't recall to what level. I believe that it goes on sale at CC or BB regularly for $15 or less. I may buy the TV series as a gift to a friend, but otherwise the prices are good, just not the lowest you will likely see.

I never heard of it until the movie came out,
and I liked that so much I bought this dvd set.
one of the best purchases you will make.

It kills me they have so much crap on tv and they finally
get a good show and it last one season. sigh...
 
Serenity was the first movie I (re)watched after getting a widescreen LCD.

Firefly was the best sci-fi series. Ever.
One would have hoped Sci-Fi would have picked it up, but alas...
 
Love the series, although I thought the movie was so-so.

Blame FOX, for showing the episodes out of order, thus confusing the unwashed masses.

I just wish that Firefly was available on HD-DVD (Universal HD channel shows the episodes in 1080i).
 
Great wit, humor, warmth... the series was doomed from the start. 🙁 Truly fine TV: wish I had Gates wealth so I good revive it! Heard the good rumors about it and Netflix'd it a year ago; now I heartily recommend it to everyone.
 
I never watched Firefly when it was aired on Fox but I bought the DVD set at Target last year for $19. It's a good show but ultimately is something I consider an "overrated under-appreciated" show. Firefly deserved more than the 11 airings it actually saw but the program does not deserve some of the "#1", "top ranked", "greatest", etc. descriptions ascribed by some fans.

Watched them all in a very short time frame.

Loved every minute, fantastic show, witty, entertaining and just damned good entertainment.

MUCH better than most of the drivel that comes over the airwaves these days.

I highly recommend the series to any and all.
