Were the "Serenity" movie included, it would be a touch more satisfying, but 'think I'll grab this anyway. [I'm inferring the included "Serenity" is episode 11, and the movie bluray is an additional $11.]

This first season primarily established the characters and it was clear there was a wonderful ride ahead... in a never produced second season. I was particularly disappointed that they never fleshed out the Shepherd's past, but as "Jaynestown" showed, they all had great back-stories. While not to everyone's taste, this is at or near the top of many critics most disappointingly curtailed series.
