Just understand OP that any money you put into that car is essentially lost forever. You will never recoup any part of your investment. It may be fun to you but that's it.
I'd also say just guessing your technical knowledge by your post, buy a car that's already what you want. There is nothing short of an engine swap (don't forget a new trans, driveshaft, ecu, wiring harness, mounting hardware, suspension, ect.) that will make that car what you want. And again, all that money and your car is still only worth 2-3k, MAYBE. You might be getting in way over your head.
