Fix for the DOM security restriction bug that broke many bookmarklets
Brushed up default theme, including updated toolbar icons
New application icon

does not look like many updates

I don't think those are all of the bug fixes.

Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1 is a minor bug-fix release fixing a few critical issues in Mozilla Firebird 0.6, as well as some other minor bug fixes and changes, including:

I think I'll just wait to Firebird 0.7 to come out before upgrading, I've not had any problems whatsoever with my current 0.6 build.

I moved over from Eudora to Thunderbird 0.1 last night and I've gotta say I am very impressed so far except I can't seem to get HTML emails to display correctly even when the option is enabled - I'll need to look into the problem a little more today.

If you update from 6 to 6.1, do you keep all form entries/saved passwords/all other settings?

If you keep your current profile that information will still be there. If you create a new profile... it'll be gone.

Yeah. You're supposed to delete your 0.6 installation first, but you can keep your profile, which is stored elsewhere. When you install 0.61, it'll automatically use your old profile.

On the top menu bar... select "bookmarks" and then "manage bookmarks". The result is saved in a file call "bookmarks.html" in your profile folder.

They are planning on having a new bookmark system when the browser hits 0.7. In the mean time, you're kinda stuck with that system.

Thank GOD. The only thing keeping me from making Firebird my default browser is the bookmark problem.

Mozilla bookmarks has been broken for forever now. I wonder why it's so difficult to implement a good bookmark system.

It's not even that though. There have always been little problems with the bookmark system.
