I was almost excited until I read its for tablets too.

The guys at Rock, Paper Shotgun compared it to Ace Patrol. I stopped reading at that point.

I've waited my whole young Civ playing life to see what Sid would come up with for what happens after you get to Alpha Centuri 🙁

That was Civilization: Beyond Earth, not this. You might still be disappointed, but at least you'll be disappointed in the right thing.

Or you know, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, which while dated now, especially in the graphics department, is still an excellent game.

I am aware of that game, but I was also reading the room. Pretty sure they were talking about Beyond Earth.

You know if Sid Meier made all these amazing games earlier in the games industry why not just consider leaving Firaxis and 2K Games since he is now basically endorsing their crap with his name which is basically meaningless now.

It is probably a licensing deal. He does little or nothing and get paid for them using his name. A pretty sweet deal if you can get it.

Give me a real MOO sequel. EVERY SINGLE successor since MOO has lacked the combination of tactical ship combat and detailed ship design. I'm not going to hold my breath for this one, but they did say the key words.

MOO1 was the best 4x simulation. Everything else is stupid, especially when you consider that its what, 10MB?

Other than if you care about your game. Though I'll hold judgement until I know how involved he was.
