I've had fios for over two years now. Almost every day I get a letter or card in the mail about signing up for new fios service. They are addressed to me, not just current resident or something like that.

Does this happen all their customers? None of my neighbors have it so I'm not sure. I would think they'd have a way to know who their customers are so they don't still send them advertisements for service they already have. Perhaps it is cheaper to just mail everyone in the neighborhood than it is to figure out who is and isn't a subscriber?

Yeah, we get them all the time. Makes no sense to me. It would definitely be cheaper to not mail current FIOS subscribers since it wouldn't take much to have a program filter them out, and each piece of direct mail has to cost 30 cents or more for printing and delivery.

I will say that since switching to FIOS, we now get just as much direct mail from Comcast as we do from Verizon, but never got any while we were Comcast customers.
