Well, it's a pretty good little runabout. ~2400lbs for the ZX2, combined with a 130hp motor add up to a better straight-line performer than Mazda3 2.0 and 2.3 models (no shit, really!). Amazing what 600lbs of difference in weight does.

It's also a Mazda B-Platform product, and is a bit better platform than the preceding Escorts as well as the Cadavalier. It's not up to Honda/Toyota standards, nor even on par with current Cobalt/Focus, but for what it is, it's a pretty decent deal.

Serious props to the OP for completing such a project. The G5M is *much* better tranny than the crap F-4EAT.
