The lovely flat white textured walls really looked nice after a few years worth of dirt built up on them. The pics really can't do it justice.

Still have a few things left to do. I have white wood blinds otw and I need to get some new white 6 panel doors but I'm going to wait till I do the bedroom so I can do them all at once. I'm pretty happy with it but its not like it could have looked any worse 😉.

NC State fan by chance? Room kinda has a RBC Center/Carter Finley theme to it... throw in the dog and you're even closer. 😉

No sports themes going on 🙂. Just wanted to try red and thought it would go well with all the black stuff that I had already painted. It comes off a bit brighter in the pics then in real life.

i dont think my fat ass could even fit through those narrow doors

Damn dude how fat are you 🙂? I know the closet is a bit narrow at 24in but the hallway isn't to bad at 30in. Its a 1950s house and not a big one.

I have to give some credit to my neighbor that helped installing the chair rail. It wouldn't have came out anywhere as nice without his help and as proof I have my living room's crown molding that I did myself 🙂.

that looks good, but definitely get the new doors soon. Iirc glossy bright colors shouldn't be used on rooms that you spend a lot of time in though.

Who's bitchin' wood paneled van is that outside?

Thats my bitchin turbo wood paneled minivan and it isn't exactly stock. Its my winter/beater/drag strip terror machine. My turbo miata is parked next to it.

The floors are real and the original floors. In the rest of the house they don't look as decent as those but they still beat the jazzy carpet that was in here. I need to refinish them but I hate to do that only to have the dogs destroy them again. I'll just wait till I go to sell it. For now I just claim its a rustic look
