Constructed from 2x4's and a 30x60 sheet of 3/4 melamine it's pretty sturdy.

this was todays' job.

cut off a side and put a sliding filler panel in so i can access the routers lock so i can raise and lower it like a router lift.

i just did the same setup for a friend and i made his lower box like that so i wanted one too.

Good job in the table. Hold downs for the fence? Clamps on either end?

I'm using a dinky Craftsman table because my shop is tiny.

my plan is to eventually route some holes in the tables for some clamps but for now the clamps on either end are fine.

yeah 1500 is not the amount of money i would spend on that shaper origin.

also add 30 percent exchange and probably HST and it's closer to 2200 here.

I am in process of finishing mine up.

I went with 1/4 plexi insert and aluminum fence.

I will still have to do 3x T-tracks and UMHW faces for the alu fence.

All for much less than $100.
