Yeah, the amount of technologies and ideas is staggering.
On the transistor front: TFET (a few variants), QWFET, spintronics (many, many variants), CNTs, graphene and other 2D materials, vacuum transistor, GAA/nanowire (vertical or horizontal), III-V, quantum computer, optical interconnect.
On the lithography front: EUV, EBL (eBeam), DSA, nanoimprint.
Many ideas, but it's hard to get mature, since semiconductor companies want a linear roadmap where the next thing is better in all respects. Developing multiple ones is too costly, although the TFET might have a chance.
