If I had a theme song that would play in the background everywhere I went it would be "Killing in the name of"

The one that doesn't sound like whiney political rock.

I love RATM, but I could do with a different lyric set sometimes.

My favorite is definently Freedom, i can't believe it hasn't been mentioned. Definently one of their best songs.

Fvck you I wont do what ya tell me!

Back in May I got the closest I'll ever be to seeing rage live at the kroq weenie roast when audioslave played some rage songs. The whole crowd went crazy and was singing along to sleep now in the fire and killing in the name of.
Did you actually like it???

I saw Chris singing Killing in the Name on a big screen at live 8 from Berlin. He slaughtered it. Sounded horrible.
Hell yeah I liked it! Of course Cornell's voice is no substitute for Zack's as far as rage songs go, but still how could I not like hearing a rage song live? They have been one of my favorite bands since I was in junior high, but I never was able to see them live. Also my main appeal to rage is more the music and energy than the actual singing/words if that makes since. Plus I was screaming along to the songs too much to notice if Cornell sucked anyways.

I would have to agree. I've always thought that if I had to go into combat, I'd compile a whole CD of RATM and play it repeatedly in the lead up to the combat phase. Their music is the closest thing I've ever heard to representing absolute rage and chaos packaged into music form. It's war on CD if you will...

cover of cypress hill's original version.

my favorite song is 'killing in the name'. but there is so many to choose from, and the self-titled album is probably of the greatest hard rock cd's ever made. no filler tracks on that album.
