Finding IP using MAC address

I have the MAC address for a net appliance that is currently connected to our LAN. Which util(s) can i use to find it's IP address? I've looked all over for a RARP util...but can't find any...

The appliance should support DHCP, then. Or let you configure a static IP. What is this appliance, and can you see any option for this in
its configuration console?

It's an ExtendNEt 4000..... i can't even get into the console screen cuz I don' tknow the IP.

There is no local console? The network has to be working to configure the machine? Id return it.
