$3500/mo net for a college intern is damn good. what do you do and how many hours a wk?

I'm not exactly sure but I'm doing something with their intranet and BlackBerry. I just found out today. I'll be working for 40hrs a week. I'm a computer science major.

3.5k is standard for an internship, maybe even low for engineering. Not bad deals, good for the future, and you can't beat the pay while you're in school. They'll even cover housing.

OP: Have your parents start charging you rent and get that 4000 housing allowance.

wow....that is around...what...30 an hour? pretty good for an internship.

if you were better at math, maybe you could have made the same amount when you were in college (closer to 20/hour)

Well I sort of owe my parents for the rent they are still paying for my apartment at college. I could use the extra money to pay for the rent there.

and if you were better at English AND math you see that net is after taxes.

And FYI, I did make over $20/hr in college during internships, but what do I know.....
