Finding a sound card that has an internal header....

My motherboard has a 9-pin internal header for front panel audio out. It looks similar to the internal USB headers.

Now, is there ANY card ANYwhere that actually has this connector? I've been looking and I'm about ready to give up.

I'd prefer something with hardware acceleration, but it's not necessary...

ahh god, those are way too far out of my price ranger.

Is there some sort of a converter I can get to turn the internal audio header line into 2x3.5mm connectors?

Nope they are not directly compatible.

The striker isn't really all that expensive.
