Well, it's a federal offense to put incorrect information on them. Fill them out accurately.

Start at This Site

I don't know the income limitations or anything like that - varies state to state.

Say you live OFF-CAMPUS (not with family)

Check NO for loans and workstudy.

Where it says, other family members planning to go to college in the next few years, write down all of your siblings (hey, it could happen).

Write full-time student, instead of parttime.

Say you are attending summer school, too!

If your parents are divorced that's a plus.

any others I missed?

Ok, I have a question here:

I am getting married in August, and have a year left to finish my masters. My fiancee and I will gross around 5-7k a year (we live on scholarships, pretty much). We both go year round, and generally take a minimum of 16 hours.

What kind of help could we expect from uncle sam?

for the sake of financial aid, hold off marriage. Better yet, get married. More dough for me. :)

No, no no... Get married, and enjoy some better tax benefits of being married.
Put down full time status (you can change your mind later)

Actually not living with your parents is ON CAMPUS, campus being in the dorms or something.
You usualy get more when you live there.

living with family is off campus. living on your own not in the dorms is also off campus. on campus is living in dorms. if you do NOT live in a dorm, but reside near the school, it's still off campus.=P
