Wooooo.......Vibrations is done. The test got handed in yesterday, and the last of the assignments got handed in today.
Advanced Machine Design is also winding down. Two problems left, and one will be done tonight. The other will probably crush my very soul, and I don't even believe in souls! I intend to start on it tonight yet.
The next time you meet an engineer who works with bolted fasteners a lot, give him a hug. He's probably getting ready to kill himself. Bolt design is horrifying.
One of the finished problems is probably horribly wrong, but I had already pissed away around 6 hours on it. No more.
Tomorrow, a meeting with someone on campus to try to lay waste to the remaining homework problems. Then go home and have my soul crushed the rest of the way.
Then Thursday: An 8am final.
This semester hates me, and I it.
....Yay, a setback.
Converting revs/min to revs/sec, one does not divide by 12. 60 would be a much more appropriate number.
This was of course used in the very first step of the 3 pages of calculations done thus far, which does also screw up every single thing which follows.
I hate paper. This would take about a quarter second to deal with in a spreadsheet.
I really hate paper.
Everything.....the last two hours just shit themselves.
