Finals & Aderol...good combo?

Finals are this week... have never used aderol to help me study. But everyone is praising it. People swear by this stuff. I usually study the night before, but I have seriousl problems concentrating and study about 2 - 3 hours even though i devote the whole day to it. Any health risks from using it?
 
no health rtisk just make sure you are studying when it kicks in. if your not you be dooin somethin else for teh rest of the day. friend of mine played Snood for like 12 hours when he was supposed to be studying
 
If you haven't had Adderall prescribed to you you shouldn't be taking it. It is an illegal substance to have in your posession if you haven't been prescribed it by a doctor.

And how do you know there are no health risks?

I agree. It is a highly regulated controlled substance and there's a reason for that. Besides, I wouldn't recommend taking any medications without your doctor prescribing it to you. It's not going to help you pass that test taking it the night before the test. It's not a miracle drug that will let you pull answers out of your a$$. It's there for people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, but it is shown that it can help with attention, but do you really want to be on amphetamines? Nevermind. Don't answer.

well, my prescription that got filled with generic lists the contents as "amphetamine salts", so I'd say "yes", it is a form of amphetamines
 
I've been prescribed all of those, it doesn't help me with diddly squat. I couldn't stay focused or anything. I think it's rubbish. I have Ritalin right now (prescribed) but I don't take it because it doesn't really help me.
 
If you are taking any other medication, let us know. Espcially MAOI's cause interaction with adderall will produce a toxic reaction and your ass will stop existing. Amphetamines have a huge potential for misuse. You are better off getting some DMAE from a GNC to help with concentration.

I am currently taking Adderall XR, 20 mg a day. The stuff is great, but it does take a while to build up in your system so thatyou derive the full benefits.

Plus, you really need to be under a Dr.'s care when coming off of it. Some symptoms of "withdrawal" are depression, anxiety, tremors etc.

Unless you are 2 or more weeks out from your finals, don't take it. I am a big man, 5'10" 300 lbs, and it gave me the shakes for about a week. Now I am settled down, can concentrate, and feel great. I can concentrate, stay focused and maintain a straight line of thought in my head.

Do not get this from anyone other than a Dr. In order for me to go on it I had to take a physical that involved a liver function and metabolism test. I also have to watch my caffine intake. Too much caffine with this in my system can cause some serious side effects (think heart attack). Plus I would be jumpy as hell.

This is not a drug you want to use just to "get through" something. It is a maintenance drug, needs to be in your system for a while and when you come down off of it, you need to be watched closely. Last time I came down off of it, I get really depressed and damn near committed suicide.
 
Once in a dream I crushed up a 20mg Ritalin pill and snorted it but it was weak as hell and it sucked. Stick to coke if you want some speed. 😀

It's not a maintence drug at all. Just rail a 20mg in one nostril, rail another 20 mg in the other, and parachute 10 to 20 mg. You'll be up all day. Take it in the morning time, it will last all day, and probably through the night. DO NOT COMBINE ANYTHING WITH THIS DRUG - ALCOHOL, UPPERS, DOWNERS, WHATEVER.

This crap might help you study, but if you're stupid to begin with (Magic 8-ball says- all signs point to YES) you'll still be stupid after all that studying.

If you're going to attend school do it fcking right or just get the hell out and stop wasting the Prof's and the other student's time.

I am a 35 year old adult, and I take this for ADHD. If all you want it for is to get through finals, then you are crazy.
