Oh yesssss...the day will finally be here tomorrow. As a senior in college, I feel that I deserve to be a tad bit overly excited 😉 Anyone other young pups out there who were underage as a senior?
 
You poor poor Americans... About half of Canada is old enough to drink at the end of their first year in University... 🙂
 
I'm 20 now. If I had stayed in college, I would have graduated at 19. I have no desire to drink, so I don't really care. I turn 21 in May.

Even if you don't want to drink, it's still cool to be able to GET IN to the places that have fun events going on. No?

Well, in my hometown, you could go into clubs and bars at age 18. Here in Indiana you can't, but I *really* don't want to go to any of the clubs or bars here. It's like Amish Clubbing or something, and I have no desire to see that... 🙂

I think the 21 year old drinking age is good it helps cut down traffic fatalities. I also think if you get busted for OWI or DUI more then 3 times you loose your license for life. It makes me sick reading in the paper where people are getting their fifth,sixth or seventh DUI.

I take a hard stance on this Issue my mother was killed by a drunk driver when I was 6...I heard she was a nice person ,wish I could have had a relationship with her.

In Germany... drink everything legal with 16, get drivers license with 18 after some real tests and practice. No where near as many fatalities in Germany... and that i WITH the Autobahn 😉

I drank more before I was 21 than the 8 months after. Drinking just became less fun. I've got a fair sized mini bar in the basement, but I just don't want to drink.

Same here, cept I'm in the states. Wooo I can go buy beer myself now. Ummm, so? Don't get me wrong, I like a nice brew every now and then, but getting beer under 21 isn't dificult at all. 🙂
