I bet he will think twice about throwing acid in other peoples' faces next time.

Violences solves nothing.

How will he throw acid on people's faces if he can't see? 😀

Exactly. If a thief steals something you cut off his hands. Can't steal what he can't pick up.

Actually, I'm cheering neither the punishment nor the crime, but the fact is, wrong is wrong, irregardless of culture. Basic human decency dictates that you not go around throwing acid at people.
Irregardless IS NOT A WORD!!!!!!!!!! It has been used in casual writing and speaking for decades but it is WRONG. Learn it now before you use it in front of the wrong person and sound like an idiot.

actually, it is a casual term that is a combination of irrespective and regardless used in jest
Look it up.....it might be so but it is still considered wrong. It also sounds completely stupid since the word regardless by itself conveys the meaning the user desires so adding the negative ir- suffix is stupid and makes regardless actually mean with regard so to speak. THINK

I wish we had this kind of justice in the US. The criminals here are a bunch of pussies and I think a few cases like this with "eye for an eye" justice and the crime rate would drop dramatically.

No sh!t! Now THAT is how it's done! I would however just kill him as creating a blind person will probably result in my tax dollars going to help this idiot out when he can't get a job and has to apply for welfare! :| But that's if it happened here in the US.

that's why i said it's a casual term, not a formally accepted one. i was about to send him a PM before you posted, but thought to myself what does it matter?

also, you meant to say "negative ir -prefix". i know it's a double negative, but it's accepted in casual talk. i always tell people that i know not to use it if they say it in my presence
