Finally, some affordable LCD desk mounts $16 single, $38 dual, $65 quad @ Monoprice

You get the added bonus of getting your credit card information stolen and not being told about it too! 😀

Looks good but I'm weary of monoprice now since 2 of my credit cards were compromised because of them.

You can pay via Paypal so that your credit card info is no revealed. I just bought 3 single desk mounts from them (awesome mounts) and they weren't even accepting credit card payments.

Yeah, it took Mono two months after the fact to notify me my CC info had been stolen. AMExpress noticed fishy charge to I-Tunes and notified me same day. Called Monoprice and they were not helpful.

monoprice CC issues aside, this is a nice deal, too bad they don't have ones for cheap that will hold 26in LCDs

Looks pretty nice, one I wanted was OOS. Maybe we will start to see the crazy high prices of LCD stands start to drop in general?

This post will be a tad more useful than yours was.

It's "wary". Not "weary".

Do you need to buy mounting screws separately or will they come with the bracket?

I can't tell from looking at Monoprice.....and I've never mounted a monitor with the vesa mounting holes before.

one of the reviews says screws are included

I have the desktop stand version as a replacement stand for my 23" which had a very short stand, and it works great. Nice and sturdy...could probably mount a CRT! 😛 Unfortunately it doesnt adjust up or down without using the included tool, but for $20 I have no complaints. Most of the bracket versions to have variable height adjustment. Everything you need is included, including the adjustment wrenches.

Nice find, thanks! I have an Ergotron LX for my 22" LCD & have found that it requires re-tightening every once in awhile even though I don't move it often. Maybe one of these will be the solution for $80 less 🙂

I bought one of these a while ago. It's shit compared to the ergotron I have. It bends with a just an old dell 20" non widescreen lcd, and just looks unstable. Considering that these things will be suspending $600+ monitors, I'll gladly pay the $120 or so for another ergotron. I suggest you do the same.

These are nice and would be a nice space saver on a desk. I've got an old 2405fpw from Dell. Anybody able to tell me if this is mountable? I'd rather not have to take the desktop stand off to see if I could mount this.

yes, your 2405 has vesa mounting holes on the back...check the monitor manual, they may be hidden under a cover

Nice deals. I got two LCD stands for both of my monitors couple of years ago. I paid about 45 for each and that was at closeout, the next cheapest price was 80+.

It's great to see low price option. For those on the fence, get it. The extra desk space you'll get for keyboard or misc small office stuff under your monitors is totally worth it.
