Shot out to Richard Pryor? WTF? That was a shot out to Eddie's earlier movie with Randolph and Mortimer in Trading Places.

That movie is a classic IMHO.

And you've gotta love the scene where Dr. Benton's parents and grandmother are sitting on the couch and Cleo tells them to come up to celebrate the engagement... and they leave the soul glow on the couch!

BTW, if you like Coming to America, check out Harlem Nights. It has Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Red Foxx, and Arsenio Hall in it. Absolutely HILARIOUS!
