Well, my brother did as its not 100% set up for me to race again (I'm disabled) but it was awesome to finally get some times 🙂

People loved it for sure.

I made 450hp/550ft lb last summer on the dyno, but I'm willing to bet hp is closer to 500 now for various reasons. I'm planning to dyno soon to fine-tune my tune in a more controlled environment.

Most excellent.

What do you think of the TrueTrac? I've been kicking around the idea of getting one for my Grand Marquis to replace the factory open differential.

Holy crap. Do the front wheels get off the ground?

I remember they had a wheel stander Chevy Astro van at Lebanon Valley when I went to the night of fire. That thing was ridiculous. It could run almost the whole quarter on just its back wheels.

It would be sweet to pull a wheel, but theres no way. That van is over 7000lb and most of it is towards the front.

I think the TT is one of the better differentials out there for this kinda thing. Its probably almost as strong as a Detroit Locker without the noise and harshness. We beat the hell out of it, and I've never seen it slip a wheel. I recommend it.

Only that particular s/c...the Eaton M112 becomes very inefficient when you're asking it to work so much harder than stock. My charge temps are incredible.

I really want to build a turbo setup, but there are other options or even complete replacement kits like Kenne Bell or Whipple.

Gotcha 🙂

Larger volume on the s/c, or switch to a design that allows for an intercooler. Or go turbo... 🙂

Nice job on the van!

It has a water to air intercooler already, with a dual pass heat exchanger. Alot better than stock.

The better blowers just flow so much more, with higher displacement and thus dont get so hot when you ask them to make 15lb+ boost.

Thanks!

Ha holy shit,
that's faster than most riced civics.

How do you control the throttle/brakes btw?
