Finally! Obama coming to Sarasota this thursday... How early to get there?

I've been fortunate enough to see a few former presidents and world leaders speak back in college (Clinton, Bush Sr., Gorbachev and a few others) and always enjoyed attending the events.

Looking forward to watching Obama, but how early do people normally arrive for the rallies? The gates open at 9am, seats 10,000.

He has come to Vegas a couple times and from what I've scene/heard to get up close at all 4-6hrs early.
