Saitek has released a late beta of the SST drivers, which now should support hats (but still no rotary support until September...blast it).
More info and download link available on Saitek's website.

NOTE: According to Saitek, final version will release Aug. 23. Skittish folks (or anyone who's dealt with their installers before) might want to wait for final.
