This is what I ended up with:

DFI UT Lanparty SLI motherboard

AMD 3500+ Winchester

Coolermaster Hyper48 Cooler

NorthQ 4775-500 500W Silent PSU

Leadtek GF6800GT to be overclocked to Ultra specs

1GB ram.. 2*512 of whatever quality non-value, well priced memory that is in stock. Probably Kingston HyperX, OCZ, Corsair or GeIL.

Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250GB harddrive

NEC 3520 dvd-burner..

Coolermaster Cavalier 1 case

Acer 1715s 8ms tft monitor.. This is a temporary monitor that the wife gets once I can afford and actually buy one of those nifty Viewsonic Extreme 4ms monitors..

Doesn't this sound like something that'll run Battlefield 2 well once it gets released?

[EDIT] I would appreciate any experiences with the DFI board and RAM that you might have. Good or bad. Especially if you run HyperX, OCZ, Corsair or GeIL..

Well, current USD it would be 2500.. But I'm from Denmark, so that makes the dollar value look insane 🙂.. It's 15000 d.kr.. It's not too bad really - considering I'm getting an all new system incl. a monitor..
