Finally moved my spare x25m g2 to work computer

As expected, my work computer went from very slow to pretty good. Programs that used to take 30-45 seconds to load (and still do on every other rig at the store) take 7-8 seconds now. Life is good...

I understand why you would want to do it, but I am sure I would donate one of my personal SSDs to work.

Yeah my old SSD is at work, huge increase. Couldn't live without it.
Then again I took a 30" Dell to work as well

I own the company, so technically I just donated it to myself. I used to keep track of stuff like this years ago, but now I just kinda move my old equipment to the office (or to mom's, or the upstairs backup rig) whenever I upgrade. Since I don't use mom's or the upstairs computer very much, I felt that I would get the most benefit from bringing the g2 to work.

It's really weird, I used to be the guy getting slave-driven. Now that I'm the guy doing the driving, I have a very different perspective. It's a little bit different when it's your own money instead of somebody else's.

Anyway, I'm still unbelievably happy about getting the ssd installed at work. I highly recommend it for those of you who can get IT to sign off on it for you.
