Hi all
I now have a working version of Ubuntu Breezy on my desktop. Getting Ndiswrapper to work was a bit of a pain, having to boot back and forth between windows and linux, but now that it's up I am officially in love.
2 high points: multiple workspaces and apt-get. I'm diggin' it. The Terminal takes a bit to get used to, but the trip moves quickly. As soon as I figured out the tab button, I stopped swearing at it and started to like it.
I may have broken things already, I carelessly enabled backports for the updater and it now seems to have stalled installing a new linux-image, but I'm not too concerned. Even if I have to start over, this thing is worth it.
